Pragati Maidan offers an ambience conducive to hosting a variety of exhibitions featuring machinery and equipment to delicate exhibits having handle-with-care tags
ITPO has an extensive infrastructure as well as marketing and information facilities that are availed of both by exporters and importers. ITPO's overseas offices at New York, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Moscow and Sao Paulo assists buyers with information relating to sourcing products from India- their availability , prices, reliable sources, delivery schedules and exporter's creditworthiness etc
Similarly, ITPO's regional offices at Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai, through their respective profiles of activities, ensure a concerted and well coordinated trade promotion drive throughout the country.
THE MAIN ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES OF ITPO
- Managing the trade fair complex, Pragati Maidan ,New Delhi.
- Organizing trade fairs and exhibition at its exhibition complex in Pragati Maidan and other centres in India.
- Facilitate and support the conduct of trade fairs and exhibitions by fair organizers both from India and abroad.
- Organising Buyer- Seller Meets and exclusive Indian shows to bring buyers and sellers together.
- Organising India Promotions with Department Stores and Mail Order Houses Abroad
- Organising Participation displays for visiting overseas buyers.
- Organising seminars/ conferences/workshops on current and important issues relating to trade and in specific exports.
- Assisting in locating suitable foreign collaborators for transfer of technology, joint ventures, marketing tie-ups and investment promotion
- Facilitating small and medium scale units in export promotion efforts
- Enlist the involvement and support of the State Governments in India for promotion of India's foreign trade.
- Promoting establishment of facilities fo holding trade fairs in State Capitals or other suitable locations in India, wherever possible, in consultation with State Government concerned.
For the benefit of exhibitors and visitors alike, all the exhibition halls in Pragati Maidn are with wired and wireless internet facility. ITPO has given exclusive right to M/S Videsh Sanchar Ltd to provide wired & wireless internet services in the exhibition halls of Pragati Maidan no other service provider can provide wired or wireless internet services in Pragati Maidan. |
